faithwalk fellowship church CONSTITUTION
Article 1—NAME
This body shall be known as the faithwalk fellowship church of Hope Mills, NC, using facilities located in Grays Creek, Hope Mills, NC.
Article 2—MISSION
Our mission and purpose is to make and mature disciples that will impact the world using the following process:
· Celebration—Worship/Community Events
· Connection—Cell Groups
· Contribution—Service/Ministry Teams
Article 3—CORE VALUES
As the family of faithwalk fellowship church, in living transformed lives and upholding these core values, we will:
1. Be a Reflection of Christ in our relationships.
2. Connect families by loving them in Christ.
3. Provide relevant, biblical teaching with practical application.
4. Provide exciting, contemporary worship.
5. Be intentional in extending the Gospel and expanding the Kingdom of God.
6. Be involved in planting multiple churches.
Article 4—STATEMENT OF FAITH
The Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith. Faithwalk fellowship church subscribes to and fully supports the doctrinal statement of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention.
Article 5—RELATIONSHIPS
We are governed by the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the head of this body, the church, as He reveals His leadership to us through the Word of God and the Spirit of God. This church is an autonomous Baptist body subject to no other ecclesiastical group. We fully partner and cooperate with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and the New South River Baptist Association.
Article 6—MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATIONS
1. A personal commitment of faith in Jesus Christ and repentance of sins for salvation.
2. Baptism by immersion as a testimony of salvation or acceptable form of baptism from another denomination.
3. Completion of the new member’s class.
4. A commitment to abide by the church’s membership covenant.
